Why you need a PEC licence
What each category means (single-project limit, engineers/PCPs, typical bank balance):
PCPs = Professional Credit Points (points awarded per employed engineer; PEC publishes the PCP requirement per category).
Operator (O-6 → O-A) follow the same idea but for operation/maintenance works; PCPs mirror Constructors at each level. PEC sets Standard vs. Provisional PCPs (e.g., C-1 Standard 90 PCPs; C-1 Provisional 45).
Note: From O-6 to O-3, employment of R.E as Trainee Engineer is not required/eligible.
Note: Exact PCP counts are published by PEC; “indicative bank balances” shown above reflect common practice from the sources you provided, while official PCP tables come from PEC’s portal. Always confirm the precise current number on the CO Portal PCPs page and fee calculator before filing.
Foreign constructors/operators: fee pages and categories (FC-A/FO-A, etc.) available on PEC’s site
Step 1 — Pick category & codes: Use PCPs Calculator and Codes Detail in CO Portal.
Step 2 — Create CO Portal account (Chrome recommended).
Step 3 — Upload docs & pay fee (PEC bank details and vouchers available on site).
We help you choose the right category & codes, prepare bank/PCP compliance, and structure engineer staffing so you pass PEC checks the first time.
Need up-gradation (e.g., C-5 → C-4 → C-3)? We’ll map your completed works + PCPs to the correct tier and file clean.
